Tapestry Wall Hangings

The most aristocratic way to decorate a big dining or a living room is to use a Wall tapestry. It is a chic tradition that has been around for some centuries in the European chateaux. Wall tapestry is a piece of Art where the picture itself is weaved in the fabric, to look like it is embroidered. In the past, to complete the theme, weavers had to place every single thread on the chosen spot, by hand.

Now, the Jacquard weaving technique has simplified things and apart from the medieval themes, new more modern pictures exist.

Our collection has a dozen pictures, which can be displayed on your wall in two ways; one like a framed picture, the other is to be hanged as a curtain (a set of the tapestry picture fabric, the hangers & the rail).
